Guided Mindfulness, Meditation, and Spirituality for Your Well Being

It’s a rare breed of human being who doesn’t get stressed at some point throughout a week. In fact, if
you looked at the one common denominator for everyone in this fast-paced 20th-century living, more
often than not, you’ll find that factor to be stress.

To make things even worse, we have celebrities showing off those chiseled bodies, which is making
teens feel more compulsive about exercise – an activity which they should be seeing as a healthy way
of relaxing themselves rather than treating it as some work they have to finish before a deadline.
In such a situation, one of the most important organ of our body gets entirely neglected and ever more
burdened – the brain. And when it gets stressed out, we just usually pop a pill or have some caffeine-
based drink to calm our nerves, which makes things worse for ourselves over the long run.

Your mind needs its share of peace and quiet, and that’s where meditation comes into play. For years,
yoga gurus have been practicing the art of calming the mind with a number of techniques. This also
explains the untroubled and happy faces on all the Buddhist monks. Of course, that doesn’t mean we
take up meditation as our primary activity and forget about our lives. We do, however, need to ensure
that mindfulness and meditation are given their due time for a balanced and more healthy living.
For those who are unable to practice this by traditional means due to lack of time or any other reason,
guided mindfulness can come in very handy. This usually means you try to soothe yourself and relax
with the help of some external aid such as recorded music, hymns, etc. These act as catalysts and help
a stressed mind let go of all the muddled thoughts and wind down, which helps you rejuvenate your
mental capacity and thereby helps you tackle those same issues with a much healthier and relaxed
mind.
